I love this tune. They sound like a band for sure. Special note to the amazing drum sounds. Did Ken engineer this track?

Ken's credited for "live recording" & "Mix-down engineer" on that one... so I'd say that's a big YES.

Did they ever do a demo of it for Tusk, or was it written after the album was recorded?

^Hmm... I don't recall another version ever surfacing. There are folks here who are more qualified than I to answer that, though...
