Default What songs from TUSK?

What Lindsey songs from Tusk should have had all three voices…….not LB using his own harmonies….

I though of WATL but according to its Wkipedia page it is not just Lindsey. Sara Recor and Adjo group are credited as backing vocals, too. Anyway Stevie and Christine should have been there.

Can't guarantee anything, but this book might have the answers. I have the Dylan and Beatles books from this series and they list musician credits for each track (though they have some question marks where things are not certain): https://www.amazon.com/Fleetwood-Mac.../dp/0762486309

You can definitely hear someone singing the chorus with Lindsey. That is something I forgot or did not know. Great trivia question. Sara appears on the album in subtle hidden backing vocals and by name. Her life changed when she met the Mac. Because Tusk was a different kind of album not sure hearing Stevie on Lindsey songs would have improved anything. Lindsey needed his space and independence.

The Ledge and Walk a Thin Line recently came on my playlist. I still think I can hear Stevie and Christine on the mix of The Ledge.Walk a Thin Line would have been so much better if Lindsey could have incorporated Stevie and Christine on that track. However, it’s still one of my favorites from the album. He does an amazing work with his voice on that track.

Per his interview with Paul Zollo in the book Songwriters On Songwriting, Lindsey plays the drums on "Walk A Thin Line." He says Mick expressed consternation that people would think the drumming, which Mick deemed sloppy, was his.
