Sorry for being such a noob.

Which is your favourite version of cystal, Buckingham Nicks 1973, or Fleetwood Mac 1975. - and I wonder why they re did it.

im loving the original right now.

I love the Fleetwood Mac White album version... the keyboard solo at the end is haunting... both McVies add so much to this version...

Also the three voices on this track are amazing... better lead vocal by LB too...

Yes, it is ALL about the keyboard at the end. BN version has a great instrumental ending as well, but they don't allow it to go on long enough. Second version wins!

i always prefered B/N version but...christine's keyboard solo at the end of the FM version is just haunting

Argh! I can't choose. I'm usually so decisive, but I really like the song and I take to both versions.

I heard in an interview once that John really like Crystal and wanted to record it for the white album. Even though Stevie would rather have had a new song, she didn't want to say no to John since they had just joined the band. She said she loved what Christine did with the end of the song with the organ playing. I enjoy the white album version, although the live BN version is awsome. Especially the end.

hmm...they're both great...maybe Buckingham Nicks, because I like Stevie's vocals on that version more. One of the Greatest FM songs ever...would make a great closer to the live show I'm pretty sure I can't afford to see. One of my mom's favorites, too.
