IMPORTANT!! Regarding ISP Banning!

According to the stupendous folks over on Mick's board:

"Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from Mick's Chat or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement."

Well, throw me on the floor and make me write a bad check! Now, because of this BS, people's computers are getting screwed up and they're having to get them fixed. This, in turn, costs money. This must be stopped, folks. Get out your torches and pitch-forks.

Dontcha just love how they added in that "amendment" after people wised up to their extortion scams?

They need to make up their minds about what causes you to be banned in the first place. I have copied about 6 different versions of their position on why someone is banned and the one thing that is clear is, they are the ones who are violating their own rules every single day.

Let them TRY to start contacting ISP's. It will only add to the laundry list of material they will have to answer for.

MANY MANY people saved ALL of their posts and have PROOF that they did NOT violate any of the site's agreements or rules. They THINK that by trying to erase all of the posts and proof of their own dirty deeds over there that they have nothing to worry about and can keep running that site like NAZI SS officers. The TRUTH always comes out and thanks to computers, nothing is ever gone or forgotten.

There is an abundance of proof that they have changed their own agreements for the fanclub and the site at will, without notification and without making any notation of the changes. They've added and changed a lot of things since 90% of the fan community got wise to what they were about and the way they operate. Unfortunately for them, many people kept records.

we shuld hand out flyers at all the concerts tellin people how horrible micks bored is...im shure one of the will get to the band then they can do something about it...lol...just a thought

Does anyone, by any chance, have the post saved where Knight tells senior members to slap the dissenters? I'd love to read her that one! I think we should all wear homemade shirts with a slogan on them, something like "DOWN WITH THE KNIGHT" or something along those lines...it would definitely spark curiousity, and someone from the band's camp might take notice if many people go along with it.

Why, hell yeah. You GO. And, ANYONE out there who can provide a way to prove that these computer issues and problems have come to several of us as a result of banning our ips, I really am interested in pursuing that, as is Glitter. If intent is shown and proven why, I believe that is a white collar crime and hello, could be the end of certain types of businesses. I lost a lot of info that "I RETRIEVED KNIGHT", so if that was the intent, we aren't totally stupid and there is some wonderful software out there and you can also hide your IP and go right back on there if you want, I just disdain them so much. I could spit on them. Keep watering your plants. (Sorry, I love that!!! love love love that.)

OK, great idea. We have two weeks to agree on a slogan or logo for our shirts, then we can all make our shirts. I like that idea.

If we do do something like this, it will have to mention specifically the fan club and Mick's board, not the Knight. As much as I would love to slander that @$$, most folks wouldn't know what we meant and I doubt any of the band's camp would know who the Knight even is.

How about...

"The Feetwood Mac fan club robbed me!"

"I paid $60 to your fan club and got screwed!"

"You guys suck at marketing!"

"Say You Will Respect Your Fans!"

"Mick Fleetwood is a money-hungry bastard!"

"You have no loyalty to your fans!"

"We bought your houses, respect us!"

"Fleetwood Mac Fleeces Fans!"

"I can only take it so far guys. We got an offer from a tour operator and the band seemed to feel that if the fans wanted this, they'd take time on a concert nite (just think about that level of loyalty from the artists) to meet those who cared that much that they would book a hotel and tour pack. So I understand differences of opinion and encourage open banter here. But there has to be some level of civility. Too bad the rotten apples really do spoil the barrel.

For the future - Those of you with 3 or 4 stars by your names who have experience here - slap some sense into the offenders. The goal is for this board to encourage participation!

They might want to also ask why their admins are using different isp addresses during the fan presale to purchase tickets and how they are able to buy tickets over the phone during a club presale. We were told tickets were not available over the phone during a club presale.
