Great find! That is a great song and they harmonized beautifully. Yes, that song would be a great FM song done with Stevie, Lindsey and Christine at vocals. Love it!

Thanks jcfree, it's a song that has FM written all over it. Rythmsection too. This would have fitted perfectly on Tusk, or Mirage, in my opinion.

What strikes me about the song is how American it sounds, not only in sound but in the imagery -- "fast lane," "calm after the storm." This could fit not only in a FM album, but also in a Roseanne Cash or even Bruce Springsteen collection of songs.

I love the simplicity and emotion in it. Is there going to be a full CD by this band? By the way, did they win? I didn't even realize the Eurosong contest still happens. I remember watching it as a child and rooting for my favorite songs. That was a long time ago.

Yes, there is going to be a full album by this band. It's not out yet, but I'll keep you posted. They have NOT won the eurovision, it will have no chance at all. The eurovision is full of crap and usually a eurodiscosong with a huge theatrical bull****ty performance wins. In the beginning of May the contest starts with two semifinals and a finalround. It's unbearable to watch.

You describe exactly why I like this song. And the lovetheme of this song fits perfectly in the buckinghamnicksstory AND the reflective return of the 5 piece successformation.

Well in the early days we had years that there was a 10 percent decent songs level. Nowadays it's 2 percent.

This is very much the type of sound that I have advocated in other threads for a new FM record: Warm, acoustic-based with some tasty electric guitar licks.

I went back to the songs of the EP just to see if somehow they would grow on me, and really, they haven't. I hope if there is a new album, it won't sound like that.

This band is solely formed for de eurovision contest. Waylon and Ilse wrote about 28 songs together to pick from. A selection from those songs are recorded for an album. Great that you guys picked up on this thread. I'll post updates on the release of their album in this thread.

And Rockaway, I totally agree on the warmth and the soundstyle. I wish FM would turn back to the Tusksound....

I'd love to hear a Tusk-like sound. But the chances are zero to none. Based on the EP's frumpy sound, I have low expectations for a new album. I hope I am wrong.
