Default B-Side Request: God's Garden

Hey folks,

Does anyone have "God's Garden" that they'd be able to post for download? I've always loved that song (and much prefer it on SA over "Jane") but can't seem to find it anywhere in my collection . If anybody could help me out, it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!
Chris

You're a superstar, thank you! Why this and "Inspiration" were cut in favour of "Jane" and "Docklands", I'll never know! I know Stevie had major disagreements with Glyn Johns, but they're better songs!

I know, right? I love the part in the last verse:

"Don't know what my destiny will bring. Would you spend eternity with me?"

The WILD Heart, after listening to the first lyrics of the song,"Through the mist I see her face looking down on me", it sounds like this is about Robin!

I doubt it, seeing as Stevie didn't write it. This and "Inspiration" were written by Ethan Johns - Glyn Johns' son - and were recorded at Glyn's insistance. After Glyn walked away from "Street Angel" after a pretty strong disagreement with Stevie, both tracks were scrapped from the album and Stevie rush-recorded "Docklands" and "Jane" to replace them and also removed "I Call You Missing" (for reasons unknown)

Actually, come to think of it, I think "Kick It" might have been one of the few last minute recordings too. I have the original press release from 1992 for Street Angel at home, I'll have to double check

I'd love to know the original track list for Street Angel! Does this confirm that Call You Missing is a finished, unreleased track?

It was on the original SA tracklisting, so I guess so. I'll post the image when I get home.

EDIT: Started a new thread for that, for everyone who hasn't seen it - http://www.fleetwoodmac.net/ledge/sh...ad.php?t=51525
