Default Not finding out what the set list is...

Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone else is doing his/her best not to read anything that will give away what the set list for the upcoming tour will be. I love checking out this board but I think I'm going to have to sort of stay away until the end of May, which is a looooong time. Or I'll just have to be very careful not to open any of the (for me) wrong threads This time I just really want to go to the show and not know what the special (i.e. not Dreams, Go Your Own Way, et al) songs will be. But maybe I'm the only one..

I made sure not to know Lindsey's setlist when I saw my first solo show of his last year. It made the show so much more exciting and surprising... I was flipping out with every song I heard! However, I won't be going to see the Mac this year, so the point is moot... I'll be checking to see what they're playing out of sheer curiosity. Odds are, it'll be pretty damned predictable.

I am trying real hard to not look and hopefully I won't see any info regarding the set list. I am going to Opening Night as well as the Ottawa show.

Are they currently in rehearsals? Is Christine with them?

We won't know what the set list is until opening night, so you are safe to read the web site all you want.

It's never safe on this board You guys ALWAYS have inside information. And I won't be seeing them until quite a ways into their tour. So I think I'll just choose very carefully which threads I read

lol, some of you are silly. As Vivfox said no one will really know until opening night.

And Nicksfan, I will be at the opening show, as well...the only benefit to being in Columbus is that we will hear songs that they may drop later. I value this.

I may be going to Jazz Fest (strong probability) and it will be interesting to see how they alter/change within one months time.

edit: and kevin, pattyfan, If I post any review (doubt it) or setlist, I will be sure to label "Spoiler" for you

I'm seeing them in Philly and I definitely want to be surprised by everything. Fortunately for me, they will only have one show under their belt so there won't be too much temptation for me to peek. If I was seeing them mid tour it would be nearly impossible to wait! It's just a little more than a month away so I'm getting super excited!!

Thanks I appreciate it.

But for you who don't want to know, are you reading the threads like the one in which Stevie is discussing what they might play? I"m even staying away from that It's soooooooo hard

It is kind of silly, I agree, but I read threads here before the last two Mac tours and found out about Storms/Beautiful Child/Monday Morning/Say YOu Love Me before I saw them AND before the tour started. Of course, it wasn't for sure but I think they talked about it in the press and then people posted it (which they should do ). But anyway, I"m going to do the high tech fingers in my ears and singing "na na na na na" and just be very careful about what I read.

So I"ll say in advance, have a great time at all the shows everyone.

....and tonight they played...Crystal!

as if LOL. I'm sure it will be a rehash of Rumours + Without You. No BIG Surprises unless they introduce Chris 1/2 way through the show.

one can Dream, right?

PS about Stevie naming songs....she's just blabling for the camera/attention/publicity...I don't take Anything she says anymore at face value....our luck is that she is 1% right out of 100.
