Default Stevie Nicks Online Dating profile

Funny, lol
"Hi! My name is Stevie Nicks, and I'm looking for somebody that is no more than five years older than me. Please no health problems, no diabetes, no heart disease, no gout, please, no bipolar; if you're on an antidepressant, not good.

"(Or) 'Hi! You know, I'm in a band called Fleetwood Mac, and, you know, I'm looking for, like, a guy who's, like, tall... I don't really date younger men, so, you know, anywhere, from, I guess I could go as young as 58. And as old as 68. Not 70. Just 68. And, um, I like to travel, but I have an assistant, and she always has to come with me because I really gave up packing a long time ago."

Well, that rules me out.

Oh, c'mon Stevie...you wouldn't go just 8 months younger than that??

I thought gout was a rather hilarious thing to screen for.

Although my grandmother had gout and it caused her a lot of trouble and limited her activities, so I can see why you wouldn't want a mate with gout, but it is still a funny thing to say.

What is this from again? I know I just heard her say this but can't remember where now.

And darn... She's picky. Don't feel bad ChiliD, you've got much more hope than me... I'm the wrong gender, way too young, and have a plethora of very severe health issues that limit me more than anything she listed (but my mental health is good! Lol. I've got the same rule on that aspect...) She's the one missing out. I mean I come with my very own assistants! (Okay home health care. Lol!) And hey if your lover is too sick to hardly walk they won't be running around on you! :P

I lost track of my Stevie obsession in the last several years but wasn't she in a relationship around the time of IYD? Or did I misinterpret something I saw in an interview a few years ago? I need to update myself on the last few years of my "secret love" darn it!

Lol now she doesn't date younger guys? Remember when she had that 29 year old boyfriend when she was like 50?
I'd love to actually see her write a profile on match.com. Can you just picture it?
"Interested in men who are ugly, english, married, or any variation of the 3. Just don't tell me what to do. And understand that you will always come second to my hairless yorkie and my dozens of babydolls. I'm gone a lot. Get over it. Also all of my fans will hate you and probably send you death threats because they want me to marry this guy I dated 35 years ago."

*Sidenote, my mother was once on match.com when her and her husband were briefly separated. Under interests she listed "Stevie Nicks, mexican food, and baby animals".

"Also, I hope you won't mind that I continue to write songs about said guy I dated 35 years ago and entire arenas cheer when we embrace on stage... But its mostly for show." Lol. She definitely needs a guy who doesn't have jealousy issues!

That and I'm picturing "Oh and I have a history of dating rock stars. No, seriously. So now you know what you're up against."

But given both her dislike of the Internet and all and just because she is so charming and funny in interviews, I picture her doing a video profile. But I can't decide then if she'd be like "Do you recognize me? No? Good, continue on. If yes please don't bother..." I mean it's got to be hard for famous people to date "normal" people, right? And look at most of her (known) dating history. "I'm into rock stars, record producers, famous drummers, and the like..."

I see what you mean. Now that I think about it, I know some artists are like that. They'll say, "Oh my husband has never seen my movies, never watched my tv show, never heard my albums . . ." but somehow I don't think such ignorance would be an endearing turn on for Stevie.

I guess you can say if they're not familiar with what you do, they wouldn't be intimidated by it. But I think she'd want someone who is impressed. For a change.

I think she'd have to be with somebody who at least took an interest in and was proud of her career. Remember when she dated JD Souther, she complained that he didn't have any interest in her music or career and didn't take her seriously because she was a woman. And that drove her crazy.

Lol don't forget she dated that waiter apparently. And roadies. And she dated a few business-y guys who weren't famous themselves but worked in show biz. Like Paul Fishkin or Kim. (Plus the married business guys she had affairs with. Like Derek Taylor and Rupert Hine)

I could just imagine:

Sexagenarian looking for a 60+ man flexible enough to handle a full-time performer and poet. Musician or otherwise involved in the music industry a plus. Turnoffs include computers and cell phones.
