Default Rumours I-tunes boost

So I was just on I-tunes store (Canada) today, and looking at albums sales. Rumours is at #5! Where did that come from? Not that it's a bad thing.

I took a look at it. I'm kind of surprised they don't have "Silver Springs" on the tracklist for the I-tunes version. Guess they want to keep it like the original.

It's a show called 'Glee'!

Though I didn't really care the Glee versions of the songs, I'm thrilled that new fans or older fans are rediscovering the Mac.

Hahahhahaha. Totally forgot about the whole "Glee" thing. What a brain fart

I don't really watch it, although I've been meaning to watch the Rumours episode.

For some reason I don't think it's about fornicating, cocaine, and an intense web of hooking up and heartbreak as the album... But I've never seen the show

It's cool to see the effect that show had though, considering I doubt it was even on the I-tunes charts and now it's #5!! Yay. People will see the better versions better

it was number 2 in the Irish iTunes charts the other day! I was beside myself!... it's number 3 now, but number 2 in the US...

As much and all as I love Adele, I wish she didn't have her album out at the moment :P

just finished watching the rumours episode on Glee, Ive never even watched the show before .

They did a decent version of GYOW and I dont want to know but their rendition of Dont stop didnt sit right with me personally!

Im not a glee fan, its good for the mac getting their name out there with the younger crowds BUT its going to be even harder to get concert tickets now with all the GLEEKs trying to get tickets now too

Not to worry, I think most of the GLEEKS will stick to the Glee tours and leave the real thing for the rest of us.

Call me Scrooge, but much as I love Kristen Chenoweth, I find most of Glee pretty annoying and would've liked them to leave this album alone. I don't really care that it promoted Rumours. Rumours doesn't need promotion and has always done just fine, thanks very much! Thankfully I don't think any of the renditions were really good enough to eclipse the originals in the eyes of viewers, unlike poor Don't Stop Believing (it always irks me when people say that's "a song from Glee".)

I talked to my 15 year old neice today and she was telling me about all the kids in school saying they like Fleetwood Mac now. This girl has been listening to Stevie/Mac for 12 of her 15 years and been to 4 concerts. Her attitude made me laugh, she is like oh please go find your own music this is mine I guess she is having trouble sharing. Even though I dont get into Glee I am glad they are introducing good music to these starving children

Oh, it's about all of those things, except maybe the cocaine.

Wouldn't it be amazing if it finally hit 20X platinum?

What is it currently at in platinum count?

Amazon Rankings (as of today... shoulda checked at the height of sales):

MP3: #14 Paid in MP3 Albums (See Top 100 Paid in MP3 Albums)
CD: #29 in Music (See Top 100 in Music)
Deluxe: #214 in Music (See Top 100 in Music)

Shame that the deluxe is so low. People need to hear this remastered.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I told Mom Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' is gaining popularity like no one's business. She said she doesn't know why because it's such a stupid show. Hahaha. I have to agree, but I'm really glad kids and other people are discovering or rediscovering them, it's really great. I just hate how people are like, "Oh my god, they are the best thing in the world, my new favorite band!'' No, they're not. You know like 5 songs, and half of an album. You just watched Glee, they aren't your life soundtrack, take a second to appreciate them for what they really are. Gesh........ *major eye roll*
