Default Tom Petty / Stevie Nicks

Okay kids, this is sort of another pic request thread, but I've got several to post myself. I'd like any pictures of Stevie and Tom from the early/recent days. So pretty much all pictures I don't post!

Also, let's make a list of everything they've done together. (Wether it's been in the studio, or live)

"Insider" & "Needles & Pins" were recorded at the Forum in Los Angeles in summer 1981.

Those photos above weren't from the RAL tour. It was the Southern Accents tour, July 1985. The only photos from an actual Stevie Nicks tour were the 1983 photos from Radio City Music Hall. That was the only time that Petty came to her show to play until recent years.

I gotcha! He came to her show in Philadelphia at The Spectrum in 1986 for her RAL concert. I was there and it was wonderful.

How odd. Are you talking about her May 1986 gig at the Philly Spectrum? I have that on tape, & Tom Petty is nowhere to be found. Here's "Stop Dragging" from that night:

Yes it was this show. Maybe this version of Stop Draggin(I haven't listened to it though) was really recorded at another venue. At this show the song Gypsy was extended and( just like in Edge of 17) in this version of Gypsy she went along the edge of the stage collecting flowers and gifts from the audience. Listen to Gypsy from your boot and tell me if it was extended. That way you'll be able to tell if your show is dated correctly.

They only did Gypsy once on the RAL tour and that was opening night in Houston. It got dropped after that night. 'Sara' was axed shortly after that.

Someone's been nipping at the cooking sherry. "Gypsy" was tossed out of the set way back in April. By April 25 Baton Rouge show, "Gypsy" was already gone, dude.

Do any of you Rock a Little collectors have "Gypsy" on your Philly show -- or ANY show in May, for that matter?

I was going to say, she didn't sound very RAL-ish on Insider on that record!
