Default Tour Stevie and Rod in Europe?

Perhaps this question has been asked here before but will Stevie and Rod also do a tour in Europe or only in the USA??

Fleetwood Mac: Back Soon After Stevie Nicks-Rod Stewart Tour

Don’t look for Fleetwood Mac to tour or record a new album this year. Stevie Nicks tells us her priority is to tour all over the world in support of her new album, In Your Dreams, in stores May 3rd. After that she will turn her attention back to the Mac.
“We’ll probably make another record [and] we’ll absolutely tour again,” she says, adding that “there’s no reason not too.” Fleetwood Mac singer and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham is also working on an album that he hopes to release this year.

Stevie starts a tour with Rod Stewart on March 20th in Sunrise, Florida.

Yeah. I'm beginning to think we won't be getting a tour from that guy any time soon.

It's only a guess, Michele, but I would think Lindsey has seen the (green) light and realizes for all the work that a tour requires, he's best off touring with SN, MF & JM. Fleetwood Mac of course gives him the income to go out on solo club dates if he wants to, but I bet he isn't itching to do it, now. Someone who seemed to know a lot said Lindsey's solo tours have cost him considerably, financially, the last several times he has gone out solo.
That's one thing if you're 3o or 40. But with his family life, it really doesn't seem likely to me he'd tour, go through all the work, just for the joy of it at age 60 or 61. I could be completely wrong, of course. Make mega-millions, or lose money? LB just doesn't have the solo audience he deserves. He seems quite joyful in his arena dates with Fleetwood Mac, which is nice to see.
That doesn't mean he won't book a bunch of solo dates, I just don't expect it.

Maybe you're right. Well, if we're lucky enough to get a new album, I won't worry so much about a tour. That would just be icing. Looking at my watch, as late as it's already gotten, I think it's fair to say that that album won't be coming out in May, but as long as it's some time in 2011 I guess I'll be a happy camper.

We FM fans have more riches than we can count coming our way right now.

All over the word = North America + Australia.

I've ranted about this in relation to so many artists but Stevie is by far, far the worst for it! It verges on laziness and, at worst, selfishness for someone who says how much they love their fans.

I think it's a matter of practicality for Stevie to tour in Europe solo again. Logistically, it's so expensive (the cost of petrol alone) for her to pack it up and trek over to Europe, unless she has a huge incentive that masses of people will show up (as in Australia). Its one thing if it's Fleetwood Mac, but Stevie's solo career was dead on arrival in Europe. Her 1st 3 solo releases were virtually ignored. She finally had a modest success after TITN with OSOTM. But since then, other than a well spring of adoration from the likes of Bats For Lashes or Florence & The Machine etc., Stevie - the solo artist, is flying under the radar in Europe.
Please correct me (European Ledgie's) if my observations are wrong. But unless IYD is a success (having Dave Stewart attached may generate some attention) in Europe, your best chances of seeing Stevie will be if Rod and her extend the Heart & Soul gig and she tours with Rod over there sometime this year.

Doesn't anyone in the Big Machine remember the response the Mac got in Europe less than two years ago?

I think you are very very right about that. The Aussies hardly get big artists coming to their country and Stevie is far from well known or popular in Europe...

Back in 1989 she only filled the Rotterdam Ahoy for the half of it that might bij 3500 seats). And then she had a hit (ROF) and a well sellimg album (OSOTM). She will be very lucky to fill the HMH in Amsterdam or the Tilburg 013 if you'e ask me...

No, of course I do hope for it (almost pray) I do not see it happen. Stevie coming to Europe or Holland in particular.

I think it would be amazing to see her at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, but I think her ego is simply too big for a venue like that
