Question Edge of Seventeen (Unreleased Club Mix)

I heard that there is an amazing house mix of Edge of Seventeen (I believe done around the same time as the Tracy Young remixes of Stand Back) that Stevie did not like because it strayed too much from the original. It is not the White Label mix from a while back. Apparently it's pretty killer. Anyone know anything about it or have it to share?

Tracy Young allegedly played her re-mix in a few clubs the Spring/Summer of 2008, but I don't think she ever leaked hers, because it was unknown at the time if the remixes were going to be approved and released. Besides she was not the only DJ commissioned to remix "Edge", so I am amazed that none of these mixes have surfaced esp. since they weren't ever released to clubs or commercially. Look at all the un-released remixes of "Stand Back" that surfaced after the official ones came out on CD.

I really didn't like any of the Stand Back remixes, I played the cd twice and practically had forgotten about it. Can't say I'm a Tracy fan, I thought her remix of 'Planets' (which hit #1 in Billboard, Dance Play, and #2 Dance Single Sales, or vice versa) was the worst remix on the maxi-cd single. One of the other 'Planets' remixes was better, but the best version of all was the "Extended Album Version" full song, with the 'You will remember, and I will die a slow death' extra verse, not dance-remixed at all, just the full song, the way it should have been released on TISL. That was odd.
An 'Edge' remix could be really fun, though. Anyone ever hear what seemed to be called the "Woo Version" that circulated on the 'Enchanted Dreams' 4 cd boot? It was so humourous that it almost worked. It sounded like a male falsetto voice maybe triple-layered cooing "Hoo" "Hoo" "Hoo" placed maybe six times throughout the song, it had to have been fan made, with maybe 1993 technology. Pretty bad, but at least it still sounded like Stevie's song with a club guy sniffing Poppers yelling 'Hoo', 'Hoo' 'Hoo' mixed into the guitar-riffs. Funny. Yet it had a cool stop-ending that almost sounded pro.
Sort of.
