New Play Based on FM!

This sounds pretty cool...

After the FM show at MSG last week, I was waiting to take the subway home. There was a group of people talking about the show at the station, so we struck up a conversation.

It was their first time seeing the Mac, and they were totally blown away.
I turns out that, besides being huge fans, they were researching their roles.

They created a play called 'Family Bed', based on the relationships between the band members, using quotes from interviews as well their own perceptions.

I told them about the Penguin, and that I'd pass the word to any NYC-area Ledgies who might be interested in attending. I'm going on Friday.
They're curious about what true Fleetwood Mac lovers will think of it:

Red Terror Squad's Family Bed is a kinetic album for the stage, written in the aftermath of an emotional fallout - both dreamed and real. The piece is grounded in the intermingling of recorded dream narratives to document our relationships (primarily using dreams about one another), layered with the stolen text of the great American rock band, Fleetwood Mac.

I'm looking forward to it, I've never heard of anyone doing a play based on the Mac...it's about time.
