Default Are there any plans to record unleashed?

Hello all, this is my first post so please go easy on me for a while.

Are there any known plans to film and/or pro record any shows for a future release?

Default welcome to the ledge

hi and let me be the first to welcome u the ledge ramattack...well i know there is always someone recording the shows at least the audio part of it as stevie has said this when explaining why it took her so long to do a live cd...there is usually ppl taping it who are not doing it for the mac but for themselves...i guess the mac didnt think a greatest hits show was worth recording bc syw was professionally done and of course the dance...however there is a possibility that at a show down the line they may get someone in to record it but right now all ur gonna get is bootlegs which is fine by me...any kind of recording be it on utube or a boot is a wonderful keepsake of this tour imho...hugs pat

Welcome! How can one go easy on a ramattack?

I hope they do not record this professionally: they usually overdub it to death and Lindsey is as stiff as a pole when he knows he's on camera. let's hope for an exquisitely good boot.

I feel like it is just too similar to the Say You Will set for them to bother recording this one.... The only real reason to record it, in my opinion, would be for "Storms", "I Know I'm Not Wrong" and "Monday Morning". Basically everything else is on The Dance or the SYW DVDs....

I mean, I would love it if they recorded it, but I don't think it makes sense.

I personally would LOOVE this tour to be on Soundstage. Who knows if they will do another tour after this...or even perform "storms" and "I know I'm not wrong" live again. Especially "Storms". I think they are putting on a GREAT show this tour. Minus Stevie not being as energetic.

I've read that they do some overdubbing but I've never seen any details or been able to spot any overdubbing, but its harder for me because I can't tell if I'm hearing overdubs or a backing musician. If there is a list of details I'd love to see it.

And thanks everyone for the warm welcome

Well, if that is true he must have been an animal during the SYW tour, because his performance on the "Live in Boston" show made me a die-hard LB fan.I wouldn't call it stiff, but this is Lindsey we're talking about...he's kind of superhuman when it comes to live shows.

Well, Nico, it still was a relatively stiff performance: He was more "ïn control" than during the 4 SYW shows I saw back then, and also on the boots he went more raw-edged crazy in the solo's during ISA, Come and GYOW than on live in Boston. Plus, "LIVE" in Boston was very very afterproduced....

still...I totally understand that he impressed you on that dvd...

Oh, no...I definitely believed you. And that's the thing. He's that good, even stiff. It's amazing. 4 shows? I'm jealous. And I'm sure Say Goodbye was beautiful, but I always loved that Eyes of the World performance. It's just a lot of raw energy.

Both the 1997 Mac tour & the 2003 Mac tour featured stops that were recorded by Westwood One & broadcast on the radio in the U.S. Both of the recorded stops were in Orange County, California.

I would imagine this big tour will also be recorded for radio.

The 1987 Mac tour was also recorded for radio broadcast -- a stop in central California.

The 1982 Mac tour stop in L.A. was filmed & broadcast on radio, as well.

Yeah compared to like Mirage... I see what you're sayin Shack... he can be stiff.... but i've always thought he was the most animated out of the 5... (well if you don't count mick's faces)

He looks animated enough on LIB for me. I just think he's much too tame on The Dance video as compared to the tour. And yeah, that A & E Private Sessions thing he just did was nothing compared to the dynamic GOS tour.
