Default Columbus tickets dropping

Just bought my ticket...FRONT ROW CENTER!!! Floor 2, Row A, Seat 6.

Looked again, and Row 3 center is coming up.

Get them while they're hot!

Thanks for the info! In part to your que, I was able to UPGRADE MY SEATS!!!!

So now instead of being 5th row on Lindsey's side, I am 3rd row center- slightly more toward Stevie- but still dead on!!! This is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!

Default Tickets

Still great tickets popping up for both Ohio shows.

As for exchanging tickets with TM, another poster mentioned doing this a couple months ago. I never knew them do to this so I'd like details. I haven't bought any tickets yet for FWM as I am waiting for ticket drops but there are a couple of TM concerts I have tickets for and am watching for better seats and would like to know what you need to do to "upgrade" without buying another ticket.

There really isn't a cut and dry way to do it. Mostly luck that I got someone who understood the situation I guess.

Either way- I'm happy as Hell!
3RD ROW!!!!

Ok so I am planning on *trying* to exchange/upgrade mine. I bought Fm tickets for St Louis soon as they was on sale cuz I wanted to make sure I'd get to go... I'd rather see them far away than not at all! So I am now seeing ALOT closer seats and if I see some even closer in the next couple weeks I'd like to try to exchange. I found the customer service # for TM so I am all ready to plead and beg.

So just a quick (maybe dumb) question.... *if* I get so lucky as to get mine exchanged/upgraded what happens to the tickets they already mailed me? Are they no good and the scanner thing wont work or will I need to send them back in before they will do this? Sorry to be so questiony but I REALLY want some close seats if at all possible! Just want to make sure I do everything right not to screw myself

Don't apologize- we all want to get the best seats possible.

I think what happens is that the old tickets just become invalid, as in they won't work.

We've already picked up out new seats, so that's what I'm getting at.

Good luck with everything!!

Quick question, and sorry if this was already asked:

If I want to exchange my tickets for (possibly) better seats, HOW do I go about doing this? Is it electronic or can I go to a local Ticketmaster agent or just get to the venue early and do this?

Just curious. I'm pretty satisfied with my seats, but it's worth a try.

I think it just depends on the agent you get at TM. If you find a better seat on TM online and can actually get someone on the phone at TM before the seat expires, you can verify that they will cancel the old seat for you. If you can't, you would just have to buy the new seat and then call and ask them to cancel the old seat. They have done it twice for me, but both times it happened, the exchange was made within a few minutes of buying the first ticket.

Some venues will upgrade seats at the box office for only the difference between the price level of the seat you bought with the one you want. If they are both the same price level, they'll just exchange it. Not a lot of venues do that, so if that is what you are going to try to do, you could call ahead and ask.

I hope this helps. I don't think Ethan's explanation was very clear because I don't think he's very familiar with the whole ticket purchasing process.

Sorry if I was vague, but yeah- Cam explained it right on the money- there are a few ways going about it, and it just requires a bit of luck. What Cam explained to you was pretty much dead on, so I would take the advice!

This Columbus Dispatch article by Greg Kot on April 12, 2009 had the usual quotes from the band's first press conference, but then at the end it had Listening Essentials with some original choices on it that I appreciated.

http://www.dispatch.com/live/content...C.html?sid=101

• Then Play On (1969): the best of the Peter Green-era discs, informed by the guitarist's intensely personal interpretation of Chicago blues

• Bare Trees (1972): a transition from blues to burnished singer-songwriter pop, with strong entries from Christine McVie, Bob Welch and Danny Kirwan

• Rumours (1977): a chronicle of real-life romantic travail, with virtually every song a hit

• In the Skies , Peter Green (1979): a haunted postcard from the fringe by the troubled but brilliant guitarist after a decade of battling personal demons

• Tusk (1980): the audacious and sometimes-puzzling follow-up to Rumours that resonates as one of the band's boldest statements

• Gift of Screws , Lindsey Buckingham (2008): a set that joins his other solo efforts as by far the most interesting music out of the Mac stable since Tusk
