One of my favourite FM videos is the one for Big Love. The concept of the video is just...great. For me, it doesn't only captures the core of the song, but also opens up a door to Lindsey's mind. The fact that the video is like a cycle (it explains a story and then it rewinds) reminds me opening a box, the box of Lindsey's feelings and life, and then closing it, with the image of his incredible blue eyes, the mirror of everybody's soul.
It is remarcable that when the video begins, the members appear in this order: Mick, John, Christine, Stevie and Lindsey. The order of them joining the band, first Fleetwood and McVie, then Chris and Nicks/Buckingham? Later, the concept of the house. A house full of rooms and corridors. Each member standing in front of a door. Lindsey's live, deeply commited to the band and its affairs. Stevie always appears beside him. She is there, silent, doing nothing, but she is the closest one. Lindsey falling into the empty space, but then, standing up again. Doors and windows have a great presence in all the video. Doors to new opportunities (as solo artist), to the exterior of the band (quitting?), doors that communicate to rooms in which the members are standing again (trying to get out but FM always appears. Life as a cycle). Doors that hide things. And then, windows, that let us see what happens inside, as well as tv's. there a lot of tv's in the video, in which FM member's life is exposed. But when it seems to finish, it all begins again (the rewind). I don't know if you guys ever interpretated this video like this, but I wondered who did directed this? Who had the idea of the concept? I think that knowing the exactly time of the shooting (the exact days is not necessary, but the month) would be very helpful for the interpretation. I hope someone can bring new answers and comments!!! ![]() Marina |

This is my second fav next to Gypsy. They really only did 4 good videos, bl, gyp, LL and Hold Me. wish they had done more conceptual vids like these 4.
Love the part in BL where they are on the beach, wish Stevie had slimmed down a bit for this shoot and her swishing of the skirt is kinda too repetitive and gets tiresome. |

The part on the beach is my favorite.
I like that house they filmed in front of at night. I forget who owned the house, but it looked very "nicksy". |

I love it too. Wish I had a poster of it. Fire and ice. The beach is known for its warmth and sun. It's where you frolic and play. But there they are in the frigid night, wrapped in big winter coats and stony faces. They look dark and intriguing, otherwordly. I always say they could be standing on the surface of the moon, just as soon as the beach. The five of them alone, together. I melt. Delicious. Michele |

I agree. Should have been the album cover (would have been nice synergy)

A wonderful video with some great 'moments' like the beach. It hasn't been officially released at any point, has it? It would be nice to get some decent screenshots for small posters etc.

Since it's a video with a lot of special effects (at least for the time) there must be decent pics somewhere, I guess. Favourite moments, candidates for photo are the beach one and lindsey's eyes. this man is incredibly handsome. he's simply beautiful.
