Default Fleetfoot Mike Tribute was AWESOME!!

OK, So I'm sat at home with mate Becki n John we have just got back from an awesome night of music from Fleetfoot Mike. They're actually an awesome tribute and we all had a fantastic night. Annie (Stevie) dedicated Landslide to me and I won "mac kid of the night" and got a free t-shirt lol. One is rather pleased with ones self. The band were also awesome people as well and we were told a rather amusing tale of Anne (Christine) falling over a sheep lol. Anyway here's the set list:

The Chain
Say You Love Me
Dreams
Isn't It Midnight
Rhiannon
Everywhere
Eyes Of The World
Gypsy
I Don't Want To Know
Sisters of The Moon
I'm So Afraid
Sara
Never Going Back Again
Landslide
Tusk
Edge of Seventeen (this one really stood out for me)
Little Lies
Green Manalishi (not a pre-75 fan. So i went to the loo at this point)
Gold Dust Woman
You Make Loving Fun
Silver Springs
Second Hand News
Seven Wonders
Stand Back (the synth was awesome. Reminded me of WH tour a lot)
Go Your Own Way

Encore:
Don't Stop
Goodbye Baby

They sound checked with Angel, I Don't Want to Know and parts of Everywhere

The whole show was great. The audience were crap but that didn't stop us going bonkers for them. The whole thing worked really well. They weren't trying to BE the mac - just pay a fine tribute to them. My only criticism was that we got no encores because the set ran over. I only know what the encores were because we could see the set list up on the wall lol. The venue was ok. I normally love The Gasworks but I don't think it was the right place for a mac tribute. Either way, me and my mates all had a fab night. If Fleetfoot Mike are on the Ledge then THANKS GUYS . I also met some really cool Stevie and Mac fans that night too so it worked out well.

all the best,
Chris x

I have seen their website, too cool! I wish they weren't so far away, I would love to see them. Have you seen Fleetwood Bac & Rumours over there?
TOTALLY awesome. I think they are two of the best mac tributes of all.

No I live in the north of England and they seem to always play quite far away. Would love to. I've never seen the real thing. Fleetfoot Mike was FAB though. And the really strange thing: the woman tht we were talking to who was stood next to me is a die hard Stevie and Mac fan and turned out to be an assistant tutor on the college course i am starting in September. How strange is that?

WOW, that is a coincidence!
And quite cool!
Oh, I guess England is pretty spread out, are those the only three Mac/Stevie tribute bands in England, or are there others? I think those are the only three I have seen websites for. LOVED them. Got a CD from a friend of the Rumours band, and I was like OMG...I want this band! Awesome!
And FBac I have watched the videos, and their "Stevie" is just mesmerizing, she is so beautiful and so very "Stevie" ish! Love her voice, too...
Fleetfood Mike I don't think I have seen a video, but I haven't been to their website lately, do they have one up now??
