Default new album next year?
Ok, Yes or no. Will the next Fleetwood Mac album be out next year? I say a RESOUNDING YES. I just feel that they're riding hot after SYW, and with the necessary break, and after Stevie finishes her Solo tour, they'll be right back at it. Here's hoping that whatever is in the future for Fleetwood Mac is as good as SYW.

I say "no" to 2006; but, a resounding "YES" to 2007...which will be the band's 40th anniversary.

What would be cool is if they had some of the past members make cameo appearances on the next album.

Interesting angle. Hadn't thought about that. I wonder if they'll have a gig on August 13, which if memory serves me right would be the 40th anniversary of their first appearance live at the Windsor Jazz and Blues festival in England.

Mick has said that he's working on getting as many former members of Fleetwood Mac as he can together for a big concert that would cover the entire span of Fleetwood Mac. How cool would it be to have that one jame with Peter, Welch, Lindsey, Vito, and Mason?

Yeah, he said that in 1992 also.

I predict the next FM album will be in 2012.

Maybe they would start working on an album nexy year, but it wouldn't be released for several years if they haven't even begun working on it.

I say no to 2006 mainly because I would rather have another Stevie solo first ( I may need to re-enter the Ledgie Protection Program after stating that in the Rumours thread.) I think she still owes one to her label. 2007 definately!

NO, no Stevie solo album please. Her work is so much better in Fleetwood Mac, and Fleetwood Mac should always be her first priority. That seems to be whats on her mind too.

I agree with that statement regarding some of her earlier work, but I do not think her "Say You Will" work was better than TISL.

I dunno. Songs like "Say You Will," "Thrown Down," "Smile At You," and "Goodbye Baby" are among some of her best work ever. Really, the only songs that have stayed in my head from TISL are "Too Far From Texas" and "Sorcerer." TISL is a good collection in its entirety, but her SYW songs are great on their own.

other then TISL and Fall From Grace, every single song on SYW is better then the best of TISL. To me all 9 of her SYW songs are masterpieces. her TISL dont even come close.

I would take POTU, TISL, Sorcerer, Candlebright, FFG, and Bombay Saphires, over SAT, RTG, SG, EFO, and SYW any day. To each their own I guess.
