I noticed the same thing in an ad yesterday for the Hartford Show: 'Lawn Seats ONLY $25' with no other ticket prices noted.
For the 'Enchanted' tour, on the day of the show, radio station 106 offered 'lawn seats for 1.06' and tons of people showed up to get the cheap tix. I think its the venues/promoter tryin to up sales when they have a lot of unsold floor seats, because they can count on beer/concession sales, parking, and such. And it also seems to help get more people aware of the shows and possibly move the unsold floor seats. I think $150 is off-putting to lots of fans with mortgages, kids, car payments, whatever--- so it's smart to open up the lawn..... |

Plus - I read an article just the other day that basically said that once the guarantees for the band and the venue were covered with the normal ticket sales and with the higher priced tickets usually always being snapped up... The venues basically sell off the remaining tickets at cut rate prices... And it's all gravy money... Once they know they are covered... they can do that.. thought that was pretty interesting.
