Default ***SPOILER***Nashville set list

this is unbelievable....looks like we are slowly migrating to the set list of yore - according to a review on Mick's board, they dropped "destiny rules" inserted "say you will" back in.

this is really pissing me off slowly. i can just see "sara" getting dumped soon.

The totally wierd part is right now I have no idea what they will play tonight..there has been some kind of a set list change for this leg of the tour every night...so It's very weird for me to be able to say that I do not know what they will play...as long as they dont drop Sara!!

Default Unbelievable is right...

You've got to be kidding me.

So now we're down to only IKINW, Sara, and Red Rover as the only changes from a setlist that has been played over 100 times? This is ridiculous.

I might just be done with this tour.

For all we know possibly they are just trying to change it up every night...I know that is hard to believe, but it is possible...there has been no SET in stone set list since this leg began...Dont let me down again was dropped, then the next night goodbye baby reappeared, now destiny rules has been dropped and say you will back in....maybe next week destiny rules will be back and goodbye baby dropped...MAYBE (although i have my reservations as well)---they are trying to do it a little diff. every night..

Except for DLMDA , we know Cory said it was dropped for good because it couldnt find it's place or something

I'd really like to believe that. But it seems to me that they are still just so uncomfortable with taking chances that they're reverting back to the safe, predictible setlist. I guess we will know better after tonight.

i know...me too. i woke up this morning, went online and hadn't heard the new added songs from Madison. After i heard "DR", i thought, "i like this song...and i'm glad they're doing it in place of "SYW" cause it's more emotional and stevie-ish to me for some reason.

i was just scrambling around the past few days trying to get tix for 2 shows in the area. I found 2 great seats (6th row) for scranton on ebay and when i went to bid on them, ebay prompted me to enter credit card information and i usually wait till literally the last minute or two before bidding because you have a better chance of getting the item without someone out bidding you. anyway, i didn't get the tix and maybe this is a sign.

i think i may just go to one show providing they don't drop anything else.

i also just as soon see them go back into the studio. i really need to save my $$$ anyway.

if they feel that the song was dragging, why don't they put in "RTTG"?

Default By now they should change it for the diehard fans

Hey everybody! This is my very first post here (woo-hoo!) even though I've been coming to the site over a year now.

Anyways, I've been to see the Mac twice last year (FINALLY my first two times seeing them live) and I've found them to really be playing to the general, casual fans. I've noticed that Rhiannon, Gypsy and a few other classic tracks just seem fizzled out, in my opinion - it's as if they're forced to play them to please those nosebleed-seat-grabbing 'fans'. I totally understand this for the first and even second leg, but the point is that we're on the THIRD LEG now! Those casual fans have had their chances to go catch the band play their greatest hits at least twice now, so I feel like they've filled their quota. It's time to finally throw out new (and obscure old) songs that they've always wanted to experiment with live. If the casual fanbase isn't totally into it, then big deal. Swap with another group of songs the next night. By now I just feel that they should be tailoring more to the diehard fans that will appreciate the immense variety of work they've created over the years (and past year!). We've already forked over tons of cash for repeat concerts, and we're gonna keep going over and over again (who are we kidding?). Bring on the new set list because by now we deserve it!

Can someone answer a question? Is Second Hand News still in the setlist? Someplaces say it is in the set list and some do not. I really hope it is because it is my favorite song from Rumours.

Also!!!! Destiny Rules dropped!!! Ahhhhh!!!! This sucks!!! The tour has been going on for what four or five concerts now and the setlist has been different at each one, so I am not holding my breath to hear any song when I see them next week. I don't want to be dissapointed. This royally sucks though. Lets hope it is just a rumour or they quickly change their minds and bring it back in the setlist tonight. I am mad!!!

NO NO NO. I could live with the loss of DLMDA, but THIS is UNEXCEPTABLE. Short of loosing IKINW this is the worst possible thing that could happen. You people who went to Madison surely had the right idea.

Red face Personally...

I thought "Destiny Rules" sounded rather flat on the Madison bootleg, So I can see it getting the boot..."Say You Will" seemed more rockin' on past bootlegs than "Destiny Rules" did on the live Madison boot.

However, IKINW & Sara seem very rockin' so hopefully those 2 tracks will be around for awhile (If ya catch my drift)

Damn it!!!!

I was really looking forward to Destiny Rules. This totally sucks ass. I say we find the one who decided to take it out of the set and lynch them! Why is it that this song is always played 3-4 times and then dropped?

Or maybe they don't really want to experiment with new live tunes, despite what they harp on in interviews.

If the casual fanbase isn't totally into it, then big deal.
Harry Cohn, the old studio boss at Columbia, once said that if his ass gets sore in the preview, the movie's a stinker & the audience won't like it. One of the screenwriters quipped, "That's great. The whole world is wired to Harry Cohn's ass."

Fleetwood Mac ought to stop fretting over whether a percentage of the asses out there is getting sore. The band members all think with the most prosaically commercial minds these days. It's no wonder that "Say You Will" ain't "Tusk" -- there's no way in hell that a "Tusk" would have been created in that kind of reactionary environment.

It may be your first, but I hope it isn't your last! I agree with everything you said.

Exactly. Let the fans worry about their own asses!
