Default Formal introductions

In light of coldplay's recent thread, I thought of setting aside one thread where anyone, new and old, to come and post, formally introduce yourselves.

I'll start with myself:

You may know me as littlelies7
My real name is... really, swear to God... Lindsey. I'm very serious, and I wouldn't lie or even joke about something like that. Also, don't get excited. I wasn't exactly named after Mr. Buckingham, I was partially named after my late grandfather.

I'm a girl

Favorite things are as follows:

Albums: TITN, Mirage, Little Love Affairs (Nanci Griffith), Glass Houses (Billy Joel), OOTC, Livin' On the Fault Line (Doobie Brothers), Christine McVie, Once In A Very Blue Moon (Nanci Griffith), The Nightfly (Donald Fagen), The Dance, Law and Order, and The Stranger (Billy Joel)

FM Songs: Little Lies (go fig ), Hold Me, Isn't It Midnight, Eyes of the World, Murrow, World Turning, Songbird, GYOW, TITN, Gypsy, I Know I'm Not Wrong, Never Make Me Cry, and list goes on and on...

Movies: The Fugitive, Twister, The Agony and the Ecstasy (sp?), Chicago, The Last Samuari, and list goes on...

TV Shows: Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Behind the Music (when it was still on!!)

FM Members: Lindsey (go fig) and Chris (I love Stevie too, don't get me wrong, folks!)

I think that about covers it!

God bless!

Hello all!

My screen name is also my real name; Neal. (I like to avoid confusion that way.) I'm 22, live in CA and work in customer service/sales. I used to post regularly back on the old boards, 5 or so yrs ago, and recently re-registered after a lengthy absence.

I'm a boy

Favorite things are as follows:

Albums: TITN, Mirage, SYW, RAL, TOSOTM, TISL...

FM Songs: 'Joan of Arc' is my favorite this week. Others would be almost everything on Tango. They may have been falling apart, but I've always thought FM sounded (and looked) awesome during that period.

Movies: Right now, the LOTR trilogy...

TV Shows: Smallville, Angel, Buffy, The Simpsons.

FM Members: All of them!

My name is Petros Petros Gottye. I am closer to 40 than 30. I'm a recovering genius, recidivist comic, reformed believer and born-again cynic. I like beer. I like guitars and I like cars. I like books and despise crooks.

My favorite albums:

Out of the Cradle
Tusk

Last night I had pasta for dinner. Today I had a tuna sandwich for lunch, only it wasn't tuna; it turned out to be chicken. That was the fourth time this week I had chicken. And frankly, I'm getting sick of it! Tonight, I shan't eat chicken.

My dog likes chicken too. But then again, she eats anything, even her own puke. (Sorry, it's the truth.)

My child is a little gluton too. And I like that!

Oh, yeah, and come spring, I'm going to go kayaking again.

I'm Nancy, and I'm a 29-yr-old female graduate student currently attending Purdue and working towards a PhD in Renaissance Literature. That's a mouthful!

There are a few of my favorite things:

Albums: "Rumours," "The Dance," "SYW," U2's "Achtung Baby," Train's "Drops of Jupiter," Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" (an oldie but goodie), Sarah McLachlan's "Mirrorball"

FM Songs: "I'm So Afraid" (Live), "Gypsy," "Everybody Finds Out", "Why" (yes, a non-BN song lol), "Second Hand News," "The Chain," "Silver Springs," "Landslide," "Hold Me," "Little Lies," "Songbird," "Sara," "That's Enough for Me," "Never Going Back Again" and "Red Rover."

Movies: Shakespeare in Love, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Gladiator, Gone with the Wind, Henry V, National Lampoon's Vacation, Ben-Hur, Dirty Dancing, Pride and Prejudice, Sixteen Candles, Singing in the Rain, It's a Wonderful Life, Die Hard, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, and Back to the Future.

TV Shows: I watch less and less TV nowadays. The only series I regularly watch is "The Daily Show with John Stewart." I occasionally catch "Friends."

Books: So many! Milton's Paradise Lost (really anything by Milton); Steinbeck's East of Eden, Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man, Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice; just about anything by Edgar Allan Poe, Arthur Conan Doyle, or Nathaniel Hawthorne; Shakespeare's Henry V and Much Ado About Nothing; Amelia Lanyer's Salve Deus Rex Judaeorum, Tom Clancy's The Sum of All Fears, Agatha Christie's The Secret Adversary, Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind, Sandra Brown's The Witness, Elizabeth Lowell's Forbidden.... and many, many more!

FM Members: Lindsey and Stevie, of course! And I love them both the same... in different ways, lol.

My name is Pattie but my real name is Patricia. I was named after my Mother because I was born the evening before Mother's day.
I am a Taurus.
I live in Providence, RI and I have lived here all of my life. I am old.
I am half Irish and half Italian.
I have been a Fleetwood Mac fan since 1977. My favorite members are Stevie and Lindsey.
I work for a credit union and it is ok.
I enjoy metaphysical studies such as astrology, tarot, Reiki, numerology and much more. I have not really done that much with it in these last few years as I have in the past.

I had a blast seeing the Mac last year and look forward to seeing them again this year.
I have a few personal goals that I wish to achieve this year cause I am getting old.

I love shopping and I am a big Seinfeld fan. I am also a Red Sox fan but I really don't know why I bother.

Hi, I'm Deborah. I'm 26 and I teach riding lessons and train horses. I started getting into Fleetwood Mac during The Dance. I was surprised that I really liked them because before them I would only listen to heavy metal. But now I am more open minded and I also love Tom Petty and like Sheryl Crow.

Favorite Bands (other than Fleetwood Mac): Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, Ozzy, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Eagles, Aerosmith.

Favorite TV shows: I Love Lucy, Bewitched, Simpsons, Cheers.

I'm sure there's more but I can't think of it right now.
