I love it but I actually like the Buckingham Nicks demo Designs of Love even better... the harmonies are amazing

Thumbs up

Her flawless lead makes "THAT'S ALRIGHT" La Nicks' finest moment!.......

Countrified celestial harmonies and Buckingham's banjo keep this gem a'flowing!

IMO, this song is PERFECTION in any of its versions, and especially her vocal on Mirage...wowie zowieeeee! The music is "just right" (I'm trying not to use the word "perfect" again!) as well...everyone's contributions are fabulous. I always can't wait for the big "Whoa! You know you've been on my mind" towards the end. Stevie was into these amazing big "Whoa"s during this time, yes? I also live for the one in the middle of Straight Back.
So, to answer your question, this is probably one of my very favorite Stevie songs ever.

"Well, I never did believe in time
You know, changing anybody's mind"

"Now I can't define love like it should be
That's alright"

(I should buy stock in these nodding emoticons.)

It's one of my favorites from Stevie.

However, the outtake from mirage are infinitely better; the vocals are just wild on some of 'em!

I love this song. It's the song that turned me from a fan into a fanatic. I used to listen to it 24/7.

I don't have Mirage, so I think I've only heard the album version once or twice. But, I've been listening to the BN "Designs of Love" demo a lot lately, and it really is one of her most beautiful songs.

I like it, and the vocal reminds me of the one on Fireflies. Very easy on the ears.

I reminds me of Bella Donna stuff. The Highwayman, After the Glitter Fades.
IMO, her best work.

Stevie is not my fav band member, but as a writer I think she is amazing!

The lyrics really touch me when I read along with this song and the way she conveys them with her voice is stunning. I love Chris and LB harmonies on this.

Because this has a country flavor to it, it took me a while to like this song, but now I love it.

Great pick
