Talking Several degrees of seperation...

I will now attempt to connect the Doobie Brothers to Steely Dan to Toto to the Eagles to Fleetwood Mac in four steps:

In 1977, the Doobie Brothers released "Livin' On the Fault Line", and in the linear notes, they credit Toto's David Paich for orchestrating the horn section and the band's keyboardist/vocalist...

Michael McDonald guest-starred in Steely Dan's 1976 album "The Royal Scam"...

Who also had Eagles' Timothy Schmit sing backup vocals, and guest-starred in 1982's "Toto IV" and Tim...

Who was in the Eagles... and the band's drummer Don Henley dated Stevie Nicks, the lead singer of Fleetwood Mac

~~

If you don't believe me, look up all the albums referenced above on All Music Guide.

God bless!

(referring to the "Death Star" laser)
Dr. Evil- "...I thought we'd name it in his honor: The Alan Parsons Project."
Scott- "The Alan Parsons Project was a progressive rock band from 1982. Why don't you just name it Operation Wang Chung?"

So did three other Eagles, according to VH1's BTM, if I remember. Basically they nested at Stevie through the late Seventies.

I think you can play Six Degrees from Stevie Nicks with just about anybody in music. Stevie is a busy bee.
