Default Anybody going to Chicago or Denver shows?

Once I'm back to work officially this week, Saturday shows will be the only possibility for me. I'm seeing good flight deals for Chicago, and I haven't been back there since I moved in '96. I notice that according to TM, you're not allowed to stand in the best sections in Chicago, but I suppose I can move everything but my butt off the chair.
Actually, I'm not seeing any great seats for Chicago or Denver, though I did just see section 114 for Chicago, which is not bad. If I'm going to fly again, I want a good floor seat.
(BTW, we're now less than two months from the Houston show, & tickets are still not on sale. I say it ain't happening, or better, it's postponed.)

Who already has plans to go to either of these shows?

Jake, I'm gonna be there! And I did stand in Chicago last time - admittedly, I was in the middle of a very long row so they couldn't get to me if they tried. I'm waiting to buy until the last minute, though.

I will be in Denver, of course, because I live here. I will do the ebay if necessary. Much to my dismay, I can't leave right now to go to St. Louis or K.C. like I wanted to, so I was thinking about Chicago. It was either that or Biloxi and (no offense Biloxians)but I ain't going there. I couldn't even find the airport.

Yeah, the airport is a factor for me, too. Setting aside that I couldn't find a Biloxi airport easily, at least with O'Hare there will be more flights to catch if anything happens to mine.

I'm assuming you're driving in & not staying over, right?
And how was the venue?

I'm thinking of going to Denver, only if I get first or second row. So I likely won't know for sure until a couple of days before when TM starts releasing those seats.

Well,I have my plane ticket all set for Chicago. I don't have a concert ticket yet but I will wait for that. I am also thinking about Denver since its Columbus Day weekend.

I plan on going to the Chicago show too if I get a good seat. They are playing at the United Center (venue where the Bulls play) this time instead of Allstate Arena in Rosemont. I like the United Center much better. I have never gotten close to the stage like I have for the Mac so I cannot say this 100% positively but I don't believe people are made to sit in the first section. I was at the United Center in June for a Pearl Jam concert and I saw people dancing around in the first few rows. Was that report for this venue???

Last two times Tiffany let me stay over with her, although I was planning to drive. So my plan is the same now: Drive unless I can get someone to put me up for the night.

I have my plane ticket for Denver, but I won't try for concert tickets until the last minute. (I learned this lesson the hard way after scoring 2nd row seats for Pittsburgh the week of the show AFTER I bought crappy seats early on from the "fan club"!!!!)

This will be the first time I have ever seen the Mac twice during the same tour, and I'm excited!
