Could you all do me a favor?
Could everyone go to AOL and stream the last episode of Moonlight. CBS are being bastards since they canceled the show. They have taken all the videos down from CBS.com even though it was working fine this afternoon. They found out we were going to stream it from their site and took everything down. My hatred for this company knows no boundaries. I was banned from their message board for simply starting a thread that said "Post your demo information." Not kidding.
You can watch the show or just stream it in a separate window with the sound muted. I don't care, your choice. I would love to hear of people actually watching it and giving your opinion of the show here though. Moonlight - Sonata We are continuing to fight to save this show. Go here to find out more: www.moonlight-united.com www.moonlightline.com www.moonlightarmy.com Thanks for indulging me. BTW, if you are interested, I wrote a blog on my MySpace ( www.myspace.com/wondergirl9847 ) with pictures from my trip to Los Angeles. I went there for the Moonlight Convention. We had a blood drive and 50 people donated.....while 37 people were swabbed for bone marrow testing. It was the most fantastic experience and I met so many wonderful people.

Thats to bad, I guess CBS had to make room for more dumbass reality and night time game shows. Moonlight was a great show.I hope it will live on in other world on cable somewhere.

I recall reading a while back that the budget for this show is ridiculously high, and way too cost prohibitive for another network like TNT, or even CW, to pick up. That alone can & will kill a series, even if its getting respectable ratings.
It's the type of show that could have had a life in syndication, although the concept of first-run syndication is pretty much all but dead by now. |

The show needs 2.5 million to produce and WB is willing to pony up 1.5...so we need another mil. We are trying to ask DirecTV to help us out, if that doesn't pan out, we go to their competition...Dish Network. Heh.
CBS blows. I stopped watching it after Moonlight was cancelled even though I love Craig Ferguson. I have principles. LOL The Nielsen rating system needs to die.....period.

Like I said, it would be perfect for syndication (a late 00's version of Forever Knight, a highly successful syndicated show ten years ago), but things have changed. |

Well, considering the show is a vampire show and has LOTS of special effects, makeup and the like...yeah, it costs more than a sitcom.
Oh and Alex....is the greatest actor you'll ever lay eyes on. The man is spectacular. Go rent Oyster Farmer, Feed or Mary Bryant. Incredible actor. As my British friends say...watch this space.
