i think it will be Go Insane, but i would love it if LB would decide to actually listen to what we were telling him at all those m&gs and replaces it with In Our Own Time or That's The Way Love Goes.

Thx elle for the link...it is amazing and a very complex song. It is understood why he has such a loyal following. About IOOT, do you think that this song is special to LB (b/c it Is special) that mb he would reserve it for his solo attendees?

Since Mick & John are on a few of Lindsey's "solo" tunes, I think that if they really want to "step outside the box", they could do "Gift Of Screws" or "Down On Rodeo" or some other tunes that Mick & John were involved with that were released on a "Lindsey Buckingham" album.

But, being that I really think they'd NEVER be that adventurous with a Fleetwood Mac set list (as a band, they've been pretty OCD about their concert sets...especially while Lindsey & Stevie have been active members).

It would probably take Stevie calling it quits along with Mick, John & Lindsey carrying on for them to re-think the concert sets.

Go Insane has been done and done again. It's time for a rest. It would be great to hear a few solo tunes from Lindsey, particularly from UTS, GOS and SWS.I think they're his strongest releases and there are some amazing tracks on each of them.

Something from Law & Order or Out Of The Cradle sounds like an unreal dream, even another song from Go Insane. But something from UTS, GOS and SWS is more possible!!

I'm really digging Stars are Crazy, Not too Late, and as elle pointed out That's the way love goes.....which I think would sound excellent with Mac.

I think Gone Too Far is very Mac-y. But it's not as rocking as stuff like TTWTLG or IIOT.

I know next to nothing about Lindsey's solo songs, but I have a feeling that both Stevie and Lindsey want to do something from their "new" solo albums. Cross-promotion and such.

I don't know, Lindsey had an opportunity to do a solo song for SYW and chose not to. I would guess that's because he had songs from the new album to showcase. This time around, I think he would push something new he's worked on (perhaps one of the songs he, John and Mick played on together) before he would sing something from any of his recent solo albums (I don't count Go Insane as being from one of those recent albums).
