St.Paul, MN 3/3 *spoilers*

I know there has been a lot of discussion related to opening night, so I wanted to wish the fans going to the St. Paul, MN show a great time.

I cant wait. I will be posting my Pittsburgh review as well, but I am so exhausted at the moment basically having not slept for 3 days. I think I'll wait until after I get back from the MSG show on March 19th and post about all 12 shows at the same time. I will say this though I got a chance to talk to Both Mick and Lindsey before the show at the hotel and Lindsey, when he saw me said "Dave, good to see you. I knew youd be here."

Hey David, that is so awesome that you got to talk to Mick and Lindsey. What time did you end up seeing them? I wish I would have had more time on Sunday to hang out there. Next time they come into pittsburgh I am just going to get a room at that hotel. Just about every single band that comes into town stays there.

They came out at right around 3:15 or so. The funny thing is is that Lidnsey's Manager Jimmy came up to me and said hi and asked about my car and stuff like that. Lindsey's whole crew is a really class group of individuals, they really are. OH and after I talked to Mick the hotel security was less than pleased with me. I was asked to leave IMMIDEATELY, which I did. I guess I just wsant used to Fleetwood Mac's security procedures yet again after dealing with Lindsey's people for 3 years who all knew me and trusted me. But its cool. I got to talk to 2 people in the band so I have no complaints!

aww man i didnt miss them by that much time at all. oh well maybe next time, HA! that is nice that lindseys manager came over to you. it really sounds like he has a great group of people around him.
that is ridiculous that you were asked to leave after talking to Mick. i think its stupid for security to get so worked up about stuff like that. i could see if there were hundreds of people waiting there and then when mick came out people starting chasing him or something but fleetwood mac fans arent like that. my theory is that the band should be happy that people want to meet them.

Well, I must say Mick was very nice. the people around him were like trying to get him to go out the door and he said "No I have time to take a quick picture" and so one of his people grudgingly did. That's when Mr hotel gestapo told me in no uncertain terms to get out.

I am glad that Mick was nice to you. He seems like a pretty cool guy. I guess what I meant to say before was this their people should just chill out a bit. I think all the bands stay there because that hotel is known for their security.

And there's nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, not everyone is satisfied with being a good fan and having a small amout of contact with an artist they admire. Some of them have a much more warped sense of what they feel they're entitled to, hence the level of security. I've never met Stevie or John, and I probably never will, and if I dont that's cool. I just feel lucky to have been able to enjoy what I have.

oh yeah there are people out there that take it too far for sure and I can understand having security. i just i just think that with people like you and i who just want to say hi or get a picture i think they should just chill out a bit. yeah i have always wanted to meet stevie and then realized its just not going to happen and thats ok but meeting lindsey would be too cool.

But one thing you have to understand is that security doesnt know me from anyone. To them, and its their job, I could just as easily be a complete psycho, and their just doing their jobs. I felt the one guy didnt have to be quite so belligerent, but I'm over it.

yeah thats true. i guess i just think its funny for security to be so rude when you were the only one waiting for them. its not like they are the jonas brothers where they have hundreds or thousands of people waiting for them at every hotel. i am glad they arent but you know what i mean? it would have been funny if you were staying there and they were like ok get out and your like no really i am staying here, HA! I wonder what they would have done then.
