From Businesswire.com:

Fleetwood Mac U.S. Tour Dates Announced; VH-1 and VH-1 Classic Are the Exclusive Media Presenters

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 2004--Fleetwood Mac will bring their legendary live show again to major arenas across the country this spring and summer with an eagerly-awaited new tour featuring material spanning their epochal career.

The group, featuring original members Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, return to the concert stage after their triumphant tour of 2003, which saw the band performing to SRO crowds that included a whole new generation of ardent fans.

This year, Fleetwood Mac will again spotlight such perennial favorites as "Go Your Own Way," "Landslide," "Rhiannon," "Big Love" and "Don't Stop," as well as selections from their latest Warner Bros. Records release, Say You Will. Reviews for the 2003 Say You Will Tour included unanimous raves across the country; "A performance that bordered on the divine" stated The Buffalo News (May 16, 2003), and "reinvigorated, ravishing and with renewed reason to exist" said The Orange County Register (July 14, 2003).

The 2004 tour marks a new chapter in the storied saga of the group, which began last year when Lindsey Buckingham reunited with the band, on stage and in the studio, for the first time in sixteen years. Good lord, by the time they finally stop touring, they won't even be able to croak.

Thanks, Livia!

I heard some second hand news last June that the tour was going to last about 18 months. If that is true then we could see them tour through November.

Don't forget that last January, Mick updated his ****ty site and said that he was prepping for two years of touring. I guess he wasn't lying this time around!

at this rate, the 3rd Buckingham will be getting acne before this tour finishes.

Not that I'm complaining. But my wallet is!

Thumbs down More tour dates?

What I'm most worried about is that this is "it" for the band. I was told by a friend of one of the band members that they've commited to doing this for another 3-5 years. I don't see how that's possible if they continue to tour like this. I'd rather them put out a new album instead of touring their asses off.

I wonder if Stevie has been working from the road on a new solo record. She certainly has operated this way in the past. Is she obligated to do another one for WB/Reprise or I wonder is l another FM will record suffice?

LOL

I think it's great that they are still going to tour, even though it'll be the same setlist . However, as some of you said, a new album in the works would be even better....

Good lord! 3-5 years of touring? Wha?

Well, if that's true then we have to get a new setlist eventually...don't we?

Seriously, if they plan something like that, they need to slap together those discarded tracks from SYW, record a few more tunes and put out another CD of new stuff. They ain't getting any younger and we need as much music out of them as we can get.
