She was on the road with them from August 1970 on (on and off) and joined to help fill out the sound, although in her words, 'I was married to their bass player, and I wanted to be with my husband. '

Also they all lived together for awhile.. communal living at kiln house and then benifols, which was about 4 years total. Even Jenny Boyd recalls being upset with Mick because he was constantly in John and Christine's apartment talking about Fleetwood Mac while she was stuck alone with the baby.

Chris leaned on Mick during times when things got particularly bad with John's drinking. She would sometimes go sleep on his couch on tour.

Mick and Chris got a house and quarantined together for awhile during covid; they used to sit out by the pool and Mick joked that people would think they were emotionally involved.

So anyway, yes... Mick John and Chris were pretty tight. It made me tear up reading Mick say how he and john were sitting together trying to figure out how to come to terms with this loss. She was just such a massive part of their lives and their memory bank.

Still so sad she's gone. To me they all sort of seemed indestructible.
