And for what it's worth, Lindsey was content to hold his tongue during that interview, but Christine egged him on to shy away from euphemisms; the same Christine who went on to
waltz during Stevie's MusiCares acceptance oration while Lindsey merely stood on watching with presumably a wry but constrained grin.
By all rights Christine should have been fired by Azoff instead of or as well as Lindsey, the only difference being that Stevie can mother and control the relatively dependent Old Christine but can't get her way with Lindsey.
