There was so much more drama in the original trilogy- this film was too much of a modern action film- fast paced (because young cinema-goers these days can't handle much more than 30 seconds of dialogue). I kind of agree with you, but I was comparing the lightsaber fights to the ultra fast prequels which just seemed beyond realistic to me, I liked how it was much more restrained in this film.
