What a fantastic discussion of this complicated album which is full of complex songs and its share of dross (TMMS, TFFT, Everyday). To me it is a decent effort. Sheryl Crow's work is "meh" really, she kind of bungled Sorcerer for me but It's Only Love is wonderful and showcases Stevie's goal chops well. I wholeheartedly disagreed with the panel on the production of Love Is. Sarah Mclaughlan really fit with the song and Stevie perfectly and the vocals and the whole vibe is so compelling.
I would love to see Jeremy and the gang discuss Stevie's epic nine-song half of Say You Will, maybe her all time best stuff. I would join that chat for sure.
