Like Manfan4life, I’m really shocked that money was why John didn’t participate in the tribute concert. Disappointed, too. But I don’t mind that Mick shared the reason, in fact I’m glad. I kind of assumed John skipped the tribute because of his health- I’m glad that wasn’t the problem, but knowing money was a factor after the huge payday he got from the tour, well, just a shame. Nice to see there were other folks who wanted to be a part of the tribute, though. It really is better to have people who truly wanted to be there than folks just wanting money for a gig.
