Warmth is the key description. The album cut while ok is just too programmed and stale compared to how it could have been. You add some warmth and play it a little like it is done live, and the song would have been a bitter hit IMHO. Lindsey synthed it too much. It almost has a robotic feel to it at times.
I agree and vote for more warmth.
