I think the article was incredibly generous to Lindsey. I mean, I believe it was a genuine mistake on Lindsey’s part, but the writer really went out of their way to slant it that way. Lindsey was fortunate the original writer of the song was so generous and gracious about it. I really enjoyed reading about how he gave that demo to Lindsey, that was a great story. Imagine having a song you wrote recorded by an artist you respect so much.
