I have to be honest with you, he didn't even sound drunk! He was just a complete idiot. In fact, I would dare say that he was stone cold sober!
I was making comments like "I wish you would go back to 1976" or "It's SONGbird not FREEbird...wrong band dumbas$" or "They didn't have an album in 1976" or "Let's go Sabres!" in response to his "GO PENS!" comment (have to show my Buffalo pride when on enemy turf).
His wife may have heard me, their conversation went something like:
Idiot: YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHH 1976 - this is 1970 friggin 6! Love IT!
Wife: Would you shut up everyone thinks you sound stupid!
Idiot: Who cares?
Wife: I do, now shut the f*** up!
Idiot: I love you honey!
Wife: *repulsed grunt*
It was pretty amusing. And I will give him props for being pumped and excited at the concert. He was a fan, just a stupid one!
