I thought this was a rather more balanced version of the LA Times piece -- you can see that it makes a difference that there wasn't a pro-Stevie bias in the reporter. Don't get me wrong, Lindsey is a prickly guy, and he's giving the quotes, so that much is not bias. But he's a prickly guy in a band filled with deeply flawed people, and that makes a difference. I do think the correct take here is a pox on all your houses, while debunking some of the lies FM has put out there. But that's not likely to happen.
