It's funny that that one interviewer just thought that Lindsey was singing in a higher range (as if) and didn't seem to realize that his voice was sped up. I guess that was what Lindsey was going for and it must work for most ears.
I guess that's an improvement over the UTS raspy sound that alienated some. But you're right, maybe since we heard the clips first that that softened the shock.
