Okay, to be fair, he's a little crazy. I'm friends with a member of his band, and other insiders, who've told me some crazy stories. So I guess they were/are both crazy.

Some people like accuracy. Some don't. Whatevs.
Watching her tell the story, the engineer sort of acts out as well as tells how Stevie was flouncing around, flicking her skirts, and she states that Stevie was commando under her skirts, and it wigged both her and Prince way out. Stevie was apparently trying to entice Prince with the goods.
In a sort of similar way Andy Summers tells about The Police playing in LA and Stevie had gotten herself backstage and then positioned herself to be watching (him, it seems like, though he is very discreet in how he tells the story) from the side of the stage. He def implies a hook up, but he's too discrete about it.
She was clearly "legendary" in more ways than one.
The story of how far she'd changed from being discreet to flaunting it for me was the Dave Stewart story about how he showed up in the studio where she was recording and Jimmy told her she didn't know Dave, that he was HIS friend, and she said in front of everyone, "What do you mean? I slept with him the other night"
