That's how we do it in L. A. First we had Silver Springs and then they came up on the stage and moved Stevie's mic. I thought they were packing up the show. But THEN the piano came out.
Those more observant than I could probably have seen it up there all along, behind all of the stage gear, but me ... you'd have to be more obvious than a grand piano to catch my eye. I screamed.
