Prior to the announcement about Fleetwood Mac disbanding, it had been announced that Mick was playing drums on Lindsey’s new album, so there was a Fleetwood Mac is dead, long live Fleetwood Mac vibe, especially after the Kentucky Derby and the release of “Twisted.” In less than five months, Fleetwood Mac became the Rumours lineup, even if it only existed as a hypothetical.
