I never liked 1987's The Chain. Visually it was spectacular almost Eagles like with 3 singers lined up on stage with a 4th behind keyboards singing all the parts. But vocally it did not sound great. I could be wrong but I think for their second tour in 1990, they just let Billy take over Lindsey's lead and it sounded better. Or at least a little better
