I feel that FWIW doe not strike me as a great choice, as much as i love this song, it could be seen an other bland song for radio & not played.. on the other hand Moonlight & WSS have a great rockin kick arse vibe that would be suitable for radio & hopefully increase album sales = more albums from Stevie in the future
Sadly I still haven't heard Secret Love on the radio here in OZ either..
ya...see your point..FWIW is a "nice" song...like a "deep cut" maybe...but definately NOT single/radio airplay material...funny you mention "sabotage"..thats exactly what i said when it was announced that FWIW was going to be the next single...i felt it would do nothing for promotion/sales...poor choice from a PR perspective..again...especially for someone who hasnt released new material in 10 years..."secret love" and FWIW are the chosen "comeback songs???" all the TV apperances and not 1 IYD's promo showed...they verbally mentioned "the new album"...but VISUALLY that promo add is very appealing...sparked my interest big time..i dont think i would consider the album a "flop" from a quality standpoint because i love the music...i thinks its a great piece of work..but lets face it...financially....all the time and effort from a lot of people...when all is said and done....they may be able to go mcdonalds a few times w/the profit made form this
