I really like SYW. I can't say it's my favorite because I can't pick a favorites...
A few thoughts on a few songs....
Thrown Down - brings out the shipper in me. Blame it on the documentary.
Red Rover - Love this song...mostly the beginning - the super fast guitar pickin part and Lindseys voice as it builds up. I just imagine Lindsey's fingers in fast forward motion moving all around and hitting all the right spots...errr, I mean chords.
Say You Will - those sweet little girl voices at the end are just precious.
Peacekeeper - Stevie and Linds sound good together on this one...but yeah, the woo woos hoos are stupid. What is that? Is it a human made noise?
Silver Girl - ummm, not so much. Didn't she say this one was about Sheryl Crow? "She had the Midas touch" Oh really? Does Sheryl do car repairs/maintenance now? Ohhhh, maybe she means Midas from greek mythology...but ya know, I haven't seen or heard commercials for that guy.
Bleed To Love Her - I LOVE this song...fell in love with it during The Dance era. I like the SYW version but the live version is my favorite.
Everybody finds out - I really like this song...it's pretty rocking and the lyrics are angry and bitter, and like "nanny nanny boo boo you can't have him! He's mine!" stuff you'd yell at someone you caught hitting on your man
Say Goodbye - slooowww down Lindsey. Don't like this fast forward version.
That's all for me...
