If anything I would say that Nicks has been *more* influential than Madonna (and I admire Madonna greatly)...even Madonna went "Nicks-esque" in her "Frozen" video. That being said, the point wasn't that Nicks has been more influential just that she clearly has been and is influential, that's all.
