Hi Cour, I completely understand your feelings of anger due this situation, but please remember lots of newbies (thereby innocents) first use search engines to find info about FM and probably visit official boards b4 moving onto more established boards such as the Ledge. So I can not support your above statement. Longtime Internet FM Fans should educate the newbies thru PM's (with this link casually thrown in) and not posts which will be deleted. If you are a member of Mick's board, stay a member and educate the newbies. We need to be smart about this, if everyone leaves in a mass protest, we'll lose an avenue to educate the masses, the innocents, the newbies...and perhaps lose the groundswell of support which is now developing. Stay united, stay calm, stay educated and stay intelligent, only when we rise above do we ultimately win.
Polly, I know you've been trounced quite a bit in this thread, so let me offer a hand in reconcilliation. yes, it is tiring to hear negative when you come to a board to "have some fun" but as you have seen, Pip has such a large support base because she is a longtime FM Internet fan and we defend our own like the mama lion. So you've gotten a few scratch marks...I hope you are a strong devoted fan who can roll with the swats and can come back stronger for the experience. (you seem that way to me from your Mick board posts) Message boards can be tough on the ego, but there is still fun to be had here...and a community whose respect can always be earned even after being flamed
Seeknpeace is doing it the right way, posting the complaint addresses as much as he/she can, but we are reaching the saturation point so we need to reach out to the larger music community...this includes casual FM fans who pop up at Micks site
