YOU DO! and southern ohio has a different accent than NE ohio ... pittsburgh has a different accent than we do, but they're only 2 hours away ... etc. so 4 hours (or, the way i drive, 3) is pretty far.
i actually think it's a great lakes thing - the closer you are to the lakes, the closer your vowels are to the front of your mouth. it's true in ohio (ever heard a real clevelander talk?), indiana (cammie's accent is similar to yours!), etc. and don't get me started on diane k and her minnesota bullsh*t.
