Whew! I'm getting a headache...
I'm going to the Philly show tonight and I just stopped by the board this AM to make sure I know all I need to know for tonight.
This is supposed to be a happy day for me !!!!!!!!!
Now I'm going to spend all day stewing over whether or not to buy a t-shirt.
Anyway, calming down now, I never expect much from tour t-shirts. My red TISL shirt is in mint condition. Why? Because I never wore it! I packed it away in my hope chest where I put all the clothes I want to save.
My white TISL album cover t-shirt, however, is a mess. It turned yellowish and was worn out by the end of the summer. Why? Because I USED it. (and I always washed it in cold water and hung to dry)
Isn't that the point of buying a shirt? To wear it and wear it out. To enjoy when some stranger walking by says, "hey, FM" or "hey, Stevie Nicks! Love her."
I have NEVER known whose pockets I was lining at any other artists concerts I have attended. And I didn't care. I don't buy/not buy with someone else in mind. I buy/not buy based on what will make ME happy.
But thanks to whoever posted about the shirts on the street with tour dates on the back. Love the shirts with tour dates and I will keep a sharp eye out for someone selling them.
I am going to have a GREAT time tonight, and I guarantee you, Jonathan Todd's name will not even cross my mind. After all, he's a flash in the pan....my memories and my t-shirt I'll have forever.
