Tsunamis are fascinating to me (in a very serious, deadly way obviously). It completely blows my mind that they can travel faster than a jet airliner (600 mph). Not to mention the fact they're so highly unpredictable... some monster earthquakes don't spawn tsunamis, while smaller ones do. You'd think they'd be straightforward to find and track, too... but they're not.
