I'm not sure what difference why someone doesn't want kids makes. Some people really are repelled by kids; everyone has their own reasons. What difference does it make?
Also want to add that I never bring my toddler into other people's homes. Nor do I bring her to most restaurants. I am trying to work on her "out in public" skills and don't want to ruin anyone else's dinner with her toddler-ness.
My director had a cook out last summer and I mistakenly brought Laney. Most people were inside because it was unbearably hot; I spent the entire evening stooped over, chasing after the child. My director has traveled the world and her house was filled with priceless artifacts. I thought I would DIE.
